  • Your chance to make D-League
    The D-League will hold its annual national tryouts June 15 in New York. The one-day event will see 200 hopefuls in full-court games in front of team executives, coaches and scouts.
  • Howard, Smith work at Development League camp
    Mad Ants guard Ron Howard and center Tommy Smith accepted invitations to the NBA Development League Elite Mini Camp, which started Monday and runs through Tuesday in Chicago.
  • Record year for D-League
    It wasn't only the Mad Ants that made 2012-13 their best season; the rest of the NBA Development League had a record-setting year, as well.

Ants score season-low in Canton

The Mad Ants dropped their third consecutive game Monday, losing at Canton, Ohio, 78-69.

Fort Wayne (11-13) shot 31 percent (27 of 87) while scoring its fewest points of the season. The Ants' previous low was in a 97-81 loss to Canton on Dec. 18.

Anthony Richardson led the Mad Ants, who played without point guard and second-leading scorer Ron Howard, with 17 points. Howard remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Two of the NBA-assigned players returned to their respective teams.

Forward Miles Plumlee was recalled by the Indiana Pacers, and Doran Lamb was recalled by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Plumlee played 11 games with the Ants and averaged 12.8 points and 11.2 rebounds. Lamb averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in two games with the Ants.
