Komets lose to Toledo

The Komets had a chance to pull into a tie for first place in the North Division, but they squandered it with a 5-3 loss to the Toledo Walleye at Memorial Coliseum on Friday night.

The Komets got goals from Mike Hoban, Daniel Maggio and Luca Caputi.

Hoban has scored in three straight games for Fort Wayne.

The Komets trailed 4-1 before Maggio and Caputi scored late, but Willie Coetzee's second goal of the game cemented the victory.
