The elderly couple told police they had been duped out of thousands of dollars and that their Social Security checks were diverted to Georgia, which gave detectives their first real clue.An 18-year-old Akron, Ind., man was arrested Wednesday in Kosciusko County on felony burglary and theft charges.
Landon John Lewis was arrested about 3 a.m. after Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives received information linking him to at least four residential burglaries, police said.
Lewis, of County Road 650 East, was being held at the Kosciusko County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
