Brief signal outage set for Friday a.m.

There will be a brief, planned signal outage at the intersection of Indiana 1/Dupont Road and Clinton Street/Tonkel Road at 6 a.m. Friday, Indiana Department of Transportation officials announced. The outage is expected to last about 10 minutes while Indiana Michigan Power conducts a power transfer between circuits.

Additional city and county intersections may also be affected, including areas north of Rothman Road and east of Tonkel Road. Any intersection without power should be treated as a four-way stop during a signal outage.
