Suspect tied to 4 home burglaries, police say

Kosciusko County sheriff's detectives have arrested yet another person implicated in home burglaries that have plagued the county.

Detectives went to Fulton County early Wednesday and arrested Landon John Lewis, 18, of County Road 650 East in rural Akron, at 2:56 a.m.

He was preliminarily charged with felony burglary to a residence or dwelling as well as felony theft, according to a written statement issued by the detective division.

Detectives reported that Lewis has been linked to at least four recent residential burglaries in Kosciusko County.

His bond was set at $20,000.
