Father charged with murder in baby’s death

INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis man has pleaded not guilty to felony charges in the starvation death of his 3-month-old son.

Twenty-nine-year-old Gregory Robey appeared in Marion County Court on Tuesday on charges of murder and neglect in the Nov. 13 death of Phillip Robey.

The child’s 29-year-old mother Bambi Glazebrook faces similar charges. Both are being held without bond. Telephone calls seeking comment were left with their public defenders.

Police responding to a 911 call at the couple’s apartment found the malnourished baby dead in the drawer of an entertainment center. Court documents say Glazebrook rebuffed friends’ pleas to seek medical help for the boy.

A spokeswoman said the Indiana Department of Child Services had received a report and was trying to locate the family when the boy died.
