    IPFW junior Ashleigh Bousquet and sophomore Larissa Franklin were named to the Summit League Softball Academic All-League team, as voted on by the schools’ faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Women lose to SDSU in basketball

A put-back at the buzzer by Megan Waytashek of her own missed shot gave South Dakota State a 66-64 victory over IPFW on Saturday at the Gates Center.

The loss spoiled the 20-point games of Stefanie Mauk and Erin Murphy.

SDSU (13-5, 5-0 Summit League) was led by Waytashek's 30 points and 11 rebounds.

IPFW dipped to 6-11 overall and 2-3 in the Summit League.
