A 15-year-old DeKalb County girl was reported missing Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s department.Carol Lynn Payne was last seen about 9 p.m. Tuesday in Auburn. She is 5-foot-3, white and weighs between 130 and 140 pounds.Today 3:00 am

Man who fired gun, fled police charged

A Fort Wayne man arrested last week for firing a gun in the air and then fleeing police was formally charged Wednesday.Curtis L.Today 3:00 am

A Warsaw man was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana and cocaine after officers served a warrant at his home.

Gilbert Berrones, 29, of 3699 N. County Road 175 East, was being served a felony warrant for dealing marijuana about 11:35 a.m. when officers noticed what appeared to be small amounts of cocaine and marijuana inside his home.

Berrones was arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail, where he was being held without bail.
