Pizza deliveryman robbed on Hoagland

An armed man robbed a pizza delivery driver early Monday on Hoagland Avenue, according to a Fort Wayne police report.

The deliveryman told police he was about to get into his vehicle in the 2400 block of Hoagland when a man with a handgun approached him, the report said.

“You know what it is, give me what you got,” the robber said, according to the report.

The deliveryman handed over about $20, and the robber fled north on Hoagland and then east on Taber Street. The holdup was reported to police at 12:04 a.m.

The robber was described as a black man in his early 20s. He weighed about 130 pounds, stood 5-foot-6 and wore black jeans and a dark jacket.
