Two Fort Wayne residents face felony robbery charges after allegedly threatening two pizza delivery drivers with a shotgun and stealing $4 in cash, two large all-meat pizzas and 25 hot wings.

Rhodney A. Lewis, 18, of the 1100 block of Greene Street, and Junius U. Brooks, 19, of the 1300 block of Greene Street, were each charged Wednesday with robbery and were being held at the Allen County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail each.

According to court documents, two pizza delivery drivers were dropping off orders at 7:43 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 2100 block of Eden Street when Lewis intercepted the delivery, claiming that the order was for him, the documents said.

Lewis said he needed to get more money to pay for the order and turned to grab a shotgun, court documents said.

Lewis pointed the weapon at the delivery drivers and demanded that they hand over cash and food, according to court documents. Lewis and Brooks took the money, pizza and wings and fled to a nearby apartment, the documents allege.

The pizza drivers called police, and Lewis and Brooks were arrested a short time later after police followed muddy footprints from the scene of the robbery to the door of the apartment, according to court documents.
