COLUMBUS, Ohio – A central Ohio has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for having sex with a teenage girl he met on a vampire-oriented website.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/12cOiDm) reported that Randall Roberts, 42, pleaded guilty in June to one count of coercing a minor for sex. He was sentenced Wednesday.

Prosecutors said he forced the girl to perform a sex act on him at least seven times during a six-month period, and then threatened to expose her actions if she didn’t continue meeting him.

Roberts, who ran a landscaping and lawn-care business, will be on 15 years of probation after he gets out of prison and will be required to register as a sex offender.

He was arrested after the girl’s stepfather saw his text messages on her cellphone.
