Today's military moment

This just in from the Department of Boys Will Be Boys: Newly crowned NASCAR Sprint Cup champ Brad Keselowski already has some plans for part of the $5.7 million bonus he earned for his title.

He wants to buy an Army tank. A real one.

"You can do all kinds of crazy stuff, which I think would be awesome," Keselowski said. "I want to park it on my driveway with a remote. My house is kind of on a secluded road with a gate. … I think it would be really cool if you pulled up to my gate—it's kind of around a hidden bend—and you pull up on this tank.

"I want to put some motion sensor or remote control so when someone pulls up, the turret moves."

What fun!

So much so, that Keselowski's neighbor, Dale Earnhardt Jr., thinks he might like to buy a tank, too. Then they could, I don't know, have mock battles or something. Or race them, since that's what would come naturally.

And you always wondered what little boys would do if they had access to a whole pile of money. Guess we know now.
