SUV misses curve, hits house

A Butler-area woman was injured early Sunday evening after her SUV lost control on a curve and struck a house, according to a statement from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.

It said that Cynthia A. Dallas, 69, of County Road 65, was going west about 5:25 p.m. on Indiana 8 in rural DeKalb County when her 2006 Saturn Vue missed the curve, overcorrected and struck a house.

The sheriff’s department reported she suffered chest and arm injuries.
