Meth lab seized; 2 charged

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested two men on drug charges after discovering a meth lab in a mobile home park north of Warsaw.

Task force and Warsaw officers began the investigation Thursday night at Green Acres Mobile Home Park after receiving information about a possible methamphetamine lab, according to a written statement issued Friday by the task force.

It said a one-pot method lab was in production and officers preliminarily charged the homeowner, Ricky D. Daniels, 52, who lives off East County Road 200 North, with maintaining a common nuisance, the statement said.

Laine V. Yeazel, 25, of Warsaw, was preliminarily charged with dealing and manufacturing methamphetamine. Each was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail and was being held on a $2,000 bond.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab and the Leesburg/Plain Township Fire Department were called to the lot to handle the hazardous materials.
