Mitch Daniels to promote book on ‘Colbert Report’

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is set to appear as a guest of fake conservative talk show host Stephen Colbert on the “Colbert Report” on Thursday night.

The Times of Munster reported Monday (http://bit.ly/XLflCA) that the Republican governor is expected to promote the paperback edition of his 2011 book, “Keeping the Republic,” during the Comedy Central program.

Daniels defended the book during a confrontational September 2011 interview with left-leaning comedian Jon Stewart on another Comedy Central program, “The Daily Show.”
