Trailer with 24 sports vehicles reported stolen

The Williams County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a rig trailer containing two dozen recreational vehicles from the truck parking lot at a northwestern Ohio motel.

The trailer was reported stolen at 7 p.m. Sunday from the Montpelier-Bryan Ramada Inn at Ohio 15 and the Ohio Turnpike, according to a written statement from the sheriff’s office.

It said the loss was listed at $195,000 and was reported by an employee of a Paulding company that specializes in moving specialty and power sport vehicles.
