4 charged in 'mobile meth lab,' police say

Four northeast Indiana men were held on meth charges Monday after police found a meth lab in their car, Indiana State Police said today.

Bradley C. Shopoff, 49, of Fort Wayne; Terrence L. Welch, 41, of Fort Wayne; Joshua B. Baughman, 22, of Fremont; and Dana M. Moon, 22, of Angola were taken to the Marshall County Jail on charges of manufacturing and dealing methamphetamine, state police in Bremen said in a statement.

Police said they were told about 8 a.m. Monday about an erratic driver on U.S. 30 near Plymouth. They said Lt. Jim Strong, the Bremen post's commander, spotted the suspect vehicle and stopped it for a traffic violation.

During questioning, a meth lab was located in the car, police said.

State police said they were assisted by Plymouth police, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department and the state police's Meth Suppression Section.
