Pair’s drug tiff ends in stabbing, arrest

A Warsaw woman arguing with a man over drug use stabbed him with a steak knife early Wednesday, according to police.

Warsaw police were called to 1613 E. Clark St. just before 6:30 a.m.

Inside the home, officers found one of its residents, a 41-year-old man who was suffering from three minor stab wounds to the right side of his chest. They also found a steak knife used to stab him, police said.

Another resident, Crystal M. Bennett, 33, was arrested on one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The victim refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
