Victim ID’d in fatal rollover crash

A man killed in a rollover crash in east Allen County on Friday night has been identified.

Bruce A. Thompson, 51, of New Haven, died after the vehicle he was driving on Webster Road crashed just north of Gar Creek Road about 8:30 p.m., according to the Allen County coroner.

The coroner’s office said Thompson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. His death is the 27th traffic death in the county this year.

Thompson worked at B.F. Goodrich for 33 years, according to his obituary. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter, parents and stepparents, grandmother and siblings.
