Three young men - once athletes and students at the University of Saint Francis – imprisoned and identified as sex offenders.
On Friday, the last of the three, Alexander J.A 27-year-old Fort Wayne man was sentenced to 61 1/2 years in prison Friday for abusing children in his care.
In July, an Allen Superior Court jury convicted Michael A. Combs of child molesting, battery and two counts of neglect of a dependent.
He was accused of mistreating his then-girlfriend's two children in late August and early September 2010.
The boys' mother, Shanna Vorndran, 25, was sentenced to six years in prison earlier this month on charges of neglect. Combs' sister, Anna Hogan, 31, was given a suspended prison sentence on charges of neglect.
