Gabby Douglas is 16 years old, and way smarter, apparently, than a lot of the people watching her make history in the Olympics.
She is, after all, absolutely right about this.
Seriously, people. The kid just became the first African-American to win the gold medal in the Olympic all-around, and all you can do is make catty comments about how she's wearing her hair? Who cares?
And people wonder why I tend to give the gymnastics a miss every four years.
