Johnson

Deputies responding to a report of a domestic dispute ended up finding 11.4 pounds of pot and a scale in a driver’s trunk, according to a statement issued by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

Travis James Johnson, 35, of Warsaw, was stopped in the area of County Road 200 North and Bell Drive about 6 p.m. Sunday, the statement said. It said Johnson’s driver’s license was suspended and that when the officer began to search him for weapons, a bag of marijuana was found.

Johnson's vehicle was impounded, and deputies reported finding a package of pot weighing 11.4 pounds and a digital scale.

Johnson was preliminarily charged with intent to deal marijuana and driving while suspended/prior, the statement said. He was being held without bond at the Kosciusko County Jail.
