Musician Ralph Tourkow is fondly remembered as a talented musician who had a jovial sense of humor and a schedule of dinner dates. His family and friends agree that to meet Tourkow was to instantly meet a friend.
Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has directed that flags in Adams County be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday in honor of the late Spc. Nicholas A. Taylor.
Taylor died July 16 in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. His funeral is Tuesday.
