The Allen County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who passed two bad checks at a bank.
On June 21, the man entered the bank in the 1600 block of Gump Road and cashed a check for an undisclosed amount. Less than an hour later, he returned and cashed another check. Both checks were counterfeit, the sheriff’s department said.
The bank’s surveillance system captured the man’s image, and the sheriff’s department shared it with news media Thursday. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the department at 449-7431.
