3 charged with possessing illegal drug lab

Three people were being held in the Huntington County Jail, accused of possessing an illegal drug lab.

On Wednesday, officers with the county sheriff's department and Huntington city police stopped a vehicle on U.S. 24, just east of Andrews.

Officers reported seeing items commonly used to meth in the passenger compartment of the car, the sheriff's department said in a statement.

It said the following people were arrested on the lab-possession charge:

  • Geoffrey Alan Fugate, 21
  • Alicia D. Spencer, 25
  • James D. Scheiber, 23
