No. 23 Hoosiers rout N.C. Central

BLOOMINGTON – Cody Zeller had 17 points and seven rebounds and Victor Oladipo scored 16 points, leading No. 23 Indiana past North Carolina Central 75-56 on Wednesday night.

The Hoosiers (21-7 have won four of five.

Dominique Sutton had 21 points for North Carolina Central (14-13), while Emanuel Chapman and Jeremy Ingram each had 10. The Eagles lost their third straight in this series.

The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 7, but when the conference schedule-makers gave Indiana two byes in less than two weeks, the Hoosiers rescheduled the game for late February.

It didn’t matter.

Indiana took a 21-7 lead midway through the first half and never let the Eagles get closer than 10 the rest of the way.
