Shooter's Comments: After listening to Michele Norris on NPR for years it was great to see her in person and hear her talk to the students at IPFW. I found myself, numerous times, just listening to her and I had to kick myself to bring me back to photographing her.

She shared experiences from her own life and the lessons learned from them. She spoke about turning down the initial offer when NPR approached her for a job because it was the wrong time and she needed to be there for her family. She stressed to the students to listen to their hearts and learn to say "no" so that when the time comes you are ready to say "yes."
