Harris gone, Howard out

Grim news before the Mad Ants face Springfield in hopes of ending a four game losing streak.

Ramon Harris, the 6-foot-7 swingman, was waived because an injured toe. In his place - at least momentarily - is 6-3 guard Thomas Baudinet, who played his college ball at Saint Anselm. In case you're wondering, that's giving up a guy who played at Kentucky for one who played at Saint Anselm.

The other bad news is that leading scorer Ron Howard will miss tonight's game at the Coliseum. Official reports blame a wrist injury, but it could be the thumb injury that kept him out of the lineup nearly a month.

Springfield enters town on a four-game winning streak.
