IPFW falls to Oakland

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Reggie Hamilton poured in 31 points and Oakland defeated IPFW 93-82 on Saturday.

Three other Golden Grizzlies were in double figures. Drew Valentine scored 19 points, Travis Bader scored 18 and Ryan Bass scored 13 for Oakland (14-13, 8-7 Summit), which used a 13-0 run in the second half to move from a one-point deficit to a 63-51 lead.

Frank Gaines led the Mastodons (10-15, 4-11) with 30 points. Jonny Marlin scored 13 and Trey McCorkle had 10 points for IPFW. Oakland made 12 of its 25 3-point attempts, led by Hamilton (5 of 9) and Bader (4 of 9). The Grizzlies shot 47 percent overall while IPFW shot 45 percent.
