Army National Guard Pvt. Tyler M. Miller has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Miller is the son of Shelly Timmerman, of Auburn, and Dave Miller, of Sevierville, Tenn.

The private is a 2011 graduate of DeKalb High School in Waterloo.
