A crash between two tractor-trailer rigs closed westbound traffic on U.S. 30 near the Allen-Whitley county line for about 3 1/2 hours Friday, authorities said.

A Whitley County dispatcher said no one was injured in the collision that was reported shortly after 9 a.m. The road reopened at 12:45 p.m., the dispatcher said. At the time of the closure, authorities warned that thick fog in the area was making driving dangerous.
