Worried that methamphetamine was being made near her home, a woman alerted authorities who ended up finding an active lab in an outbuilding on her property, the Steuben County Sheriffs Department said.
After learning that the woman had come across items she thought were associated with making meth, sheriffs deputies went to 2725 N. Old State Road 1 on Thursday evening.
The deputies discovered the lab in an outbuilding and found meth, meth ingredients and drug paraphernalia in and around the womans home, the sheriffs department said.
Jeremy Sparrow, 30, the womans guest, was arrested and booked on charges of manufacturing meth, possessing meth and possessing drug paraphernalia.
Sparrow, who had an outstanding warrant on a sale of ephedrine charge, was being held without bond Friday at the Steuben County Jail.
