Komets radio broadcaster Bob Chase, in his 59th season calling games for the team, will miss a second straight game tonight because of illness.
While there was no local broadcast of Friday's game at Moline, Ill., a 3-2 victory over the Quad City Mallards, Jim Shovlin will fill in for Chase tonight. It's his first time ever calling a hockey game, so let's try to be supportive, OK?
And here's hoping Chase gets well soon.
