The history with Richards

Someone asked me to recount what the deal is with Robin Richards of Dayton and the Komets, who meet tonight at Memorial Coliseum. Well, it goes back to a game last season, when Richards was with Wichita.

It was in that game where goalies Nick Boucher and Marty Magers were going back and forth with taunts. Here's the whole game story from that one.

Anyway, Fort Wayne's Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock was jawing with Jason Goulet, when Richards jumped Schrock. It turned into a 10-player melee. Wichita got three suspensions, and the Komets none, with Richards getting two games.

Do I think there will be some retribution tonight? Nope.
