Victor Oladipo scored a career-high 23 points as Indiana defeated Purdue 78-61 Saturday at Mackey Arena.

The Boilermakers shot just 29.6 percent from the field (21 of 71). The Hoosiers out-rebounded Purdue 53-35.

Key number: The Boilermakers missed their first 11 three-pointers. Purdue finished 5 of 21 from three-point territory in the game.

Other numbers: Robbie Hummel led Purdue with 16 points and 10 rebounds. … Will Sheehey had three blocks, the most important one coming on an attempt by Lewis Jackson with a little more than two minutes to go. A Jackson basket at that point would have cut Indiana's lead to two points.
