The same teams that played Thursday at Memorial Coliseum will be at it again Friday when Maine plays the Mad Ants. The only difference is that there is no difference in their records, since both are 10-17 after Thursday's 115-109 Maine victory.
It was after the game when the Ants' 6-foot-9 veteran forward Darnell Lazare said that he was tired of losing, and practically vowed that there will be a different attitude come Friday.
We shall see.
Meanwhile, the team still has to get used to its new guards, Travis Walton and Devan Downey.
Veteran Ants point guard Walker Russell Jr. was in the house Thursday night because his new team, the Detroit Pistons, had the night off, while Downey, from South Carolina, is here because back-up point Tory Jackson is out a couple weeks with a sprained ankle.
After Friday's game, Maine will bus up to Chicago to hang out and practice, and then return back to Fort Wayne for a game Thursday.
