What's the difference between the 109-97 Mad Ants loss to Maine on Friday and the 115-109 loss to the Red Claws on Thursday? Six points of one, and a half-dozen of the other.
If you saw one game and missed the other, then you didn't miss much, as the Ants played poorly and shot even worse in Friday's loss at Memorial Coliseum.
The team took 20 more shots than Maine (98-78) and made five fewer baskets (43-38). Moreover, it seemed as though the Red Claws were hustling to the basketball better for most of the night.
With the loss, the Ants (10-18) fell to second-to-last place in the East Conference of the NBA D-League standings.
