Fort Wayne man admits attack on guard, gun threat

Moore

FORT WAYNE -- A 19-year-old Fort Wayne man pleaded guilty to charges in two cases Thursday, but a third case was dismissed entirely because the victim recanted her statement.

Odis Moore, of the 1000 block of Savilla Avenue, pleaded guilty to a charge of battery, stemming from an attack on an Allen County Jail confinement officer in October.

He also pleaded guilty to a charge of intimidation, admitting to threatening to shoot up a house with a sawed-off shotgun, according to court documents. A case involving kidnapping, criminal confinement and several other charges was dropped because the victim recanted her statements, court documents said.

There is no agreement as to what his sentence will be when he is sentenced next month, according to court documents.
