Rain garden program

Signs herald city demonstration sites

Wells Fargo on Wednesday presented Mayor Tom Henry with an $18,750 grant to help enhance the city’s rain garden program. The grant will pay for signs to be placed at the city’s 20 demonstration rain garden sites. Many of the signs will include large displays to help teach residents how the gardens work and keep stormwater out of the city’s sewers.
