Ezeji, 2, male, arrived from the Indianapolis Zoo November 2011. The new state of the art giraffe barn, which was an exisiting warehouse, was refurbished in 2010. It is four times larger than the previous giraffe barn. The extra space has enabled the Fort Wayne Children's zoo to acquire another male. Male giraffes have to be separated at all times.
