Winter weather advisory issued

A winter weather advisory was issued until 1 p.m. Thursday for some counties in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana said pockets of freezing rain, mixed at times with sleet, would fall in Noble, DeKalb, Kosciusko and Whitley counties in Indiana, and Williams and Fulton counties in Ohio.

Additional ice accumulations would be light, it said, but untreated roadways and sidewalks would remain slippery. L

The precipitation was expected to change to all rain by the middle of the day with conditions improving.
