Weather delays wrestling meets

The NHC and SAC wrestling meets Saturday will be delayed, the hosts have announced.

In the NHC meet at East Noble, wrestling will begin at 11 a.m., said Chris DePew, athletic director at East Noble, in a statement.

The delay will accommodate road clearing and travel, DePew said. Doors will open to the public at 10 a.m., with weigh-in at 10 a.m. followed by a coaches' meeting.

The final round is expected to start at approximately 5 p.m., DePew said.

In the SAC meet at Snider, the meet will begin at 10 a.m., the Snider athletic department has announced.
