Unity Christ Church, 3232 Crescent Ave., will have a class to teach HU singing, a type of meditation chant. The class will start at 11 a.m. Jan. 21.

Discussions

Lifetree Café will show a short film, “Dream Job,” followed by discussion of practical suggestions for reducing stress and living happier lives. The event is 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at New Ground Coffee Co., 5925 N. Clinton St.

Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., will host a discussion about what teens learned from a “Reuniting the Children of Abraham” retreat. The discussion is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

Special music

Kramer Chapel at Concordia Theological Seminary, 6600 N. Clinton St., will host a choral evening of prayer at 4 p.m. Sunday.

MLK event

Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., will have a Martin Luther King Jr. prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Workshops
