Knitting Green by Ann Budd is subtitled, "conversations and planet-friendly projects."
It is an apt description for a book that begins with an essay by Clara Parks about some of the myths and illusions surrounding the term "green."
The patterns that follow come from several contributors, including Veronik Avery, Nancy Bush, and Ann Budd herself.
All are interesting, beautifully photographed, and look fun to knit. There are also essays from several of the authors, ranging in topics from "Knitting Stone-Age Style" to "A Shop Owner's Delimma."
Overall, a lovely book with a little something for everyone.
