Mad Ants snap losing streak

The Mad Ants ended their four-game losing streak Sunday with a 104-103 victory over Canton at Memorial Coliseum.

Darington Hobson’s 17-foot jump shot with 21.5 seconds left gave the Ants (8-5) the one-point lead, and then Fort Wayne withstood three missed shots from the Charge (7-7) at the end.

Darnell Lazare led the Ants with 24 points, while Hobson scored 22 and Ron Howard had 21.

The Ants play at Reno on Tuesday and Wednesday, visit Canton on Friday and return home to face Canton on Saturday.
