BayHawks’ balance too much for Ants

D.J. Kennedy, Kyle Spain and Kyle Goldcamp all scored 17 points as Erie defeated the Mad Ants 109-94 Wednesday at Tulio Arena in Erie, Pa.

Ron Howard scored 24 points and Walker Russell added 22 for Fort Wayne. Chris Daniels had 15, Gerrity had 14 and B.J. Jenkins added 12 for the BayHawks.

Erie (5-8) got off to an 8-0 start and led by 17, thanks to Mike Gerrity’s running layup, which made it 54-37. Russell’s layup got the Ants (4-7) to within three at 68-65.

Russell led Fort Wayne in rebounds (eight) and assists (eight).
