Prayer service set for Aliahna

A Heal the Land prayer service has been scheduled in the death of 9-year-old Aliahna Marie Maroney Lemmon.

“It is with great sadness in my heart that I call out to you to gather together in prayer once again,” J.P. Driscoll said in an email issued Thursday.

Driscoll is chairman of a group that travels to the scene of homicides in Fort Wayne and Allen County to pray for healing and support those who mourn.

He said the service is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Jan. 7 in the Northway mobile home park at North Clinton Street and Diebold Road.
