Cincinnati and Xavier wasted no time handing down suspensions for Saturday's disgraceful brawl, and the guy who continues to shine in the midst of the sordidness is Cincy coach Mick Cronin.
The Bearcats suspended three players for six games each and another player for one game, but what Cronin said carried more weight than that.
Don't pay attention to the punishments meted out, he said. The players involved might only be suspended, but they'll have to earn their way back onto the team, suspension or no suspension.
