The following people were recently booked into the Allen County Lockup on felony charges – either on preliminary charges after arrest or after being transported from another facility – or were formally charged with a felony in Allen County. Misdemeanor charges are also listed if the person is charged with a felony.

Monique Mays, 26, of the 1300 block of Scott Avenue, was charged Sept. 12 with four counts of neglect of a dependent. She was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Joseph Whittaker, 33, of the 2300 block of Bowser Avenue, was charged Sept. 12 with theft. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Gerry Green, 49, of the 2600 block of Evans Street, was charged Sept. 12 with maintaining a common nuisance and dealing cocaine. He was being held in lieu of $102,500 bail.

Kelvin Green, 52, of the 400 block of Colerick Street, was charged Sept. 12 with cocaine possession and dealing cocaine. He was being held in lieu of $152,500 bail.

Spurgeon Green, 53, of the 2600 block of Evans Street, was charged Sept. 12 with maintaining a common nuisance and dealing cocaine. He was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Derrick Baker, 39, of the 2100 block of Eden Street, was booked at 10:15 p.m. Sept. 12 on a theft charge. He was being held without bail.

Joel Wirgau, 19, of the 400 block of Elizabeth Street, was booked at 12:51 a.m. Sept. 13 on a theft charge. He was released on his own recognizance.

Condon Powers, 47, of the 3400 block of McCormick Avenue, was booked at 9:34 a.m. Sept. 13 on a criminal recklessness charge. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Chad A. Witte, 30, of the 8500 block of Illinois Road, was charged Sept. 13 with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and cocaine possession. He was released on his own recognizance.
