Fort Wayne leads West Michigan 1-0 after three innings Monday at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, Mich.

Rocky Gale led off the third inning with a home run to left field.

Fort Wayne starting pitcher Keyvius Sampson has seven strikeouts.

The TinCaps and Whitecaps are tied for the Eastern Division's final playoff spot. The winner of today's game will face Bowling Green in the opening round of the playoffs.
